The orginal xbox was much better.
It may look “cooler” now, but back then, I’d say “hey, have you seen the Xbox? Looks great!” And people’d come up with a hundred reasons why it looked crap, the controller was too big, and the console was too heavy.
Makes me laugh. It’s similar to the manner in which everyone praises the Dreamcast now, when at the time, hardly anyone wanted to know about it. I enjoyed it, though.
They should have just kept it simple and called it Xbox 2, I never really liked the name “360″ it just doesn’t make sense. I’m going to be pissed if they call their next system Xbox 720
@EndOfTheW0rld i went though 3 ps2s and a couple of 360s but yea i heard they fixed them.

i agree, the xbox 1 was built like tuff and i have gone though 4 360s and i have only had one xbox my xbox has lasted me 10 years and it still works. i went though 3 ps2s. xbox was built great. i miss playing nights of the old republic for hours.

Old xbox have better hardware .For me Sony is Better Because this word (Only On PLAY STATION 3).Also Blueray is Better Than DVD 9.Let me tell you something Microsoft Windows ohhh YEAH But video Games Fuck NO! .with all that i got xbox360 because i can run on my 360 copy games !

@spartan9199 The RROD has been fixed for YEARS! Also, if I remember correctly, the PS2 had the highest failure rate out of all three consoles last gen. talk about CLUELESS fanboy!

Sony:
2 million console lead in Europe
5 million console lead in Japan.
Microsoft: total lead of 6.93 million units.
Well actually 6 million,
- But they have a 1.63 million console lead in UK
-They have a 1.3 million console lead in the Oceania countries (Australia, New Zealand, etc.)
-and they have double the install base of ps3 in America – 22 million to 11 million.
-But they are absolutely dieing in Japan even though they have sold double the amount of 360′s that the original xbox sold.
-Sony has a 2 million console lead in Europe and a 5 million console lead in Japan.

Xbox 360 is the number 2 gaming console in the world as far as sell almost 8 million ahead of PS3 I missed the part where they failed
